Whenever I tell anyone I am an Image Consultant the first thing they do is apologise for whatever they are wearing. They think I am judging them and I am so not. Why do we ladies feel the need to pull ourselves down? The next question is often about body shape or what colours I would advise them to wear.
My reply is always that we come in all shapes and sizes and very often Mother Nature plays a huge part. Also colour tends to come naturally as we are drawn to colours that make us feel attractive. If you wear clothes that make you feel good you will stand differently and smile.
I do not believe in dictating to anyone. I do believe that the sooner we accept who we are and know the clothes that make us feel comfortable and attractive; the sooner we become confident with our style and begin to enjoy wearing our clothes.

Everyone is a different shape. From long legs to short bodies, from curvy to up and down girls; this is how good old Mother Nature made us.
No amount of dieting or exercise will make you have longer legs or a longer torso. Even a waist is hard to create if you don’t have any hips! However, choosing the right style of clothes can make you look like you have longer legs and a waist. You will have clothes in your wardrobe already that do that for you. This could be more down to luck; rather than buying items to achieve this. You will have clothes that make you feel slimmer or equally fat and frumpy. What I want to do over the next few months is to start to get you to think about what your clothes are doing for you, how are they making you feel not just look.
The key to looking and feeling stylish is the following; Understand your body shape and celebrate what Mother Nature gave to you. Identify what certain styles of clothes can do for your body shape.
Learn how clothes make you feel and only wear clothes that make you look and feel fabulous all the time You need to ask the right questions before you buy and only have clothes in your wardrobe that you love to wear. So take a good look at these ladies and remember we are all fabulously different and rather than moan about what we don’t have or what we think we have too much of; lets begin to celebrate what Mother Nature kindly gave to us and learn how to make it work for us.
Love being YOU and style will become easy
