Sometimes fashion just works for you and compliments your individual style perfectly and this season the fact that tailoring is making a come back is music to my ears. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you will know that my signature style has to include a blazer of some sort so I thought I would share with you just some of my favourite finds this season.
If you’re going for a more relaxed look this season why not try this cardigan soft tweed styled jacket. You’ll achieve the look of a blazer but in a totally different way.
I thought I would try and get you in the summer mood with the pretty coloured and beautiful style of this jacket. This will look fabulous with white jeans or beige cotton cut offs, white trainers and a simple t-shirt. Or pair it with a silk shirt, tailored trousers and a sexy heel. Whichever way you decide to style this jacket I am certain you’ll get a lot of wear out of it.
This could be a great blazer to wear with jeans or as a suit. It makes a fabulous change from a classic navy.
If the traditional blazer is not for you then why not opt for a tailored jacket that has a more casual feel like this one from Me+Em. This style works particularly well if you like layering and is an easy way to wear a square style jacket as it’s a much more flattering and wearable version.
This number is already in my wardrobe as I had the cream version last season and I not only love the style but the fabric too. The jersey fabric means it will give you a tailored look whilst still being able to move in it which means for me personally, it’s an ideal piece to wear to work – i’m sure it’ll appear on my Instagram feed paired with a crop trouser very soon! This jacket screams style and now it’s in the sale too although i’m not sure why as it is a fabulous jacket.
There are many check jackets out there this season and I love it because it’s a very versatile style. You can wear a checked jacket like this one from Jigsaw and make it into a suited and booted look or instead wear it with cotton chinos or cropped jeans and a trainer.
Whichever jacket you choose (and there are so many out there) remember to style it to reflect your lifestyle and personality and of course, make sure that you feel amazing when you wear it.
To ensure you don’t miss out on what I am up to this season and beyond, you can sign up to my newsletter here and if you are free on the 19th of April why not join me at the Academy and let me help you with your personal style. You can book your place here.
Enjoy those chocolates this Easter knowing that once you wear the right style of clothes you can make yourself look and feel slimmer.
